chiropractic techniques, chiropractic advertising
If you haven't had much in the way of chiropractic care, you may not be familiar with whole range of chiropractic techniques. For instance, a practice in Murfreesboro, Tenn. is featuring in its chiropractic advertising the addition of Dr. Sherri Prestwich to its staff. Dr. Prestwich, who has been a practicing chiropractor since 1995, specializes in a type of low force chiropractic adjustment called Directional Non-Force Technique, instead of the acupressure massage offered by one of her colleagues at the same practice. Dr. Prestwich's method is different from other chiropractic techniques because it features uses the body’s natural reflexes to indicate the misalignment of body parts that are creating nerve interference, rather than adjusting the entire spine or neck, or Activator Methods that employ a small spring-loaded gun to make gentle adjustments. As more people become interested in alternative medicine, I predict that other chiropractors may begin to adopt the chiropractic techniques that Dr. Prestwich has been employing so successfully. I'll be interested to see if the Directional Non-Force Technique will become integrated into regular chiropractic education.
