Chiropractic advertising is pretty common on the backs of telephone books, especially ads for car accidents, and television spots. The chiropractor just starting out in practice, however, does not usually have a big budget to advertise, so they often have to get creative about building their practice from the ground up. All of us in business for ourselves day dream about word of mouth advertising as the only thing we have to rely upon to get more business than we can handle, but that takes forever to develop.
In the meantime, getting known in the community which a chiropractor serves is the best way to build a practice. Small local newspapers are likely places to put an inexpensive advertisement about you and your services, as well as the small area phone books that are common in large metro areas. It is also an excellent idea to introduce yourself to the legal community in your area, since accident lawyers often refer their clients to chiropractors for treatment. Other chiropractic marketing efforts include partnering with local massage therapists, and joining Internet directories of chiropractors, which may be the best way to inexpensively and effectively launch a chiropractic marketing campaign. |
